MEN OF NORTHSTAR FALL 2010 RETREAT
Our annual fall retreat takes place Friday and Saturday, September 17-18, 2010, at Camp WinShape on the campus of Berry College in Rome, Georgia. We'll depart from NorthStar at 4:00 p.m. Friday and return to NorthStar about 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Events include praise and worship music (featuring Brandon Scott Smith and his band), guest speakers, communion, campfire discussions, team-building exercises, and great food. Cost is $75 per man; scholarship and assistance is available as needed. Register HERE!
NICARAGUA MISSION TRIP
The NorthStar Global Missions trip to San Sausa, Nicaragua will take place September 23-October 2, 2010. We need a few good men (and their wives if interested!). We have a strong nucleus to start with but need some help from the Men of NorthStar. We are going to tag team with NorthStar's past missions pastor Steve Bell and Flint River Church. This will be an awesome, memorable experience as we begin to complete Jim and Viola Palmer's long legacy of bringing the Gospel of Jesus to the Miskito people. The Palmers have carried this passion for over 20 years. NorthStar has sent a number of medical and construction teams to support their efforts over the years and have seen God's mighty hand in their efforts.
