NorthStar’s Special Needs Ministry gives children who are developmentally or physically handicapped the exciting opportunity to participate and learn about Jesus.

NorthStar welcomes all children! For those who need special assistance in order to fully participate, every effort is made to connect the child with the volunteer and the classroom that will best fit their needs. If you wish for your child to be included in our typical Sunday School Classes without additional assistance, please fill out our Special Needs Information Sheet and bring it with you on your first day. If you wish for your child to be included in our self-contained Sunday School Classes or if they need extra assistance in a typical class, please fill out our Special Needs Information Sheet and contact Tricia Levy prior to attending, so we can best meet your child’s needs. This is a deliberate process, taking into consideration the needs of the child and concerns of the parents before a match is made. Due to this process, it may be necessary for a family to wait until a suitable volunteer is found.
