On Sunday, August 8, 2010, all current NorthStar volunteers are invited to a special Volunteer Appreciation Evening. This is a unique time to get all volunteers together across all ministries to gear up for the new year and focus on the specific things that make NorthStar great.

Volunteers are the backbone of all that we do at NorthStar. Our volunteers are our front line of ministry. We want to encourage you, say thanks, and communicate why we do what we do and what our focus will be for the coming year.

The evening will begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Compass Centre and the agenda is as follows:
  • 5:00-5:45 Dinner
  • 5:45-6:00 Worship (Daniel will give us first listen on a couple of songs from the new NorthStar Worship recording, His Glory Appears, to be released August 15.)
  • 6:00-6:45 Main Session (Mike will share his heart on how NorthStar volunteers show outstanding "customer service." And we'll close in a special time of prayer for our church.)
  • 6:45-7:30 Breakouts (Some ministries may elect to have a short breakout session for their individual ministries. Other ministries may be training on different days. Contact your ministry leader for details.)

The staff is so excited to be able to serve and appreciate you on this special night! For planning purposes, we need a commitment from you that you will be coming. Please complete the short form below so we can prepare for your arrival. We ask that you please register no later than Monday, August 2. Registration deadline has been extended! Please register no later than Thursday, August 5.

Also please be aware that limited childcare will be available. If you have no other means of securing childcare on your own, we will be able to help. So let us know that on your form as well. Childcare is by reservation only and is limited.
