We're excited to announce a brand new opportunity for leaders and professionals to merge their career with their faith. NorthStar will offer a one-hour program on the third Wednesday of each month entitled Merge: Bringing Faith and Work Together, which will aim to bring the lessons found in scripture alive, and help leaders apply biblical principles to their professional careers.

Mike Linch, Senior Pastor at NorthStar Church, came up with the idea for Merge, which was born out of a passion for equipping today’s leaders with biblical truths that could be applied to daily living.

“I have been involved in a ton of great things at NorthStar through our 11-plus years, and I have never been more excited that I am about Merge,” says Linch. “I think we all want to make a difference, and we feel like God has something for us, but we struggle in merging our day to day world with our ‘work world.’ God has a ton to say about how live in our Monday - Friday world, and the difference we can make there!”

Merge isn’t just for the CEO or business professional. It’s for anyone and everyone who is a part of the professional workforce who wants to make a difference. In fact, if people can answer “yes” to any of the following questions, then Merge is for them:

Have you ever wished…
• You could have a mid-week time to refresh?
• You could meet with other leaders who want the same things you want?
• You could have a safe place to invite other leaders who may not be ready to attend a church service on a Sunday morning?
• You could know what Jesus thought were the most important things for you to build your life around?
• You could go somewhere where nothing is expected of you; that the goal would be to receive encouragement and inspiration?
• That there was a place you could go and just be YOU, with no pretense?

Merge will be held in NorthStar’s True North Building, which is located on the North end of their campus on Blue Springs Road in Kennesaw. Breakfast and coffee will be provided for those who attend.
