Child Dedications at NorthStar

At NorthStar we provide the opportunity for parents to dedicate their children to the Lord, and have their families prayed over within our corporate worship services.

If you would like to schedule your child's dedication, please contact Stephanie Ford at stephanie.ford@northstarchurch.org. We ask that parents contact us at least a month in advance, and provide a couple options for dates for the dedication.

The Garden Patch (Birth-Pre-K)

For your child, newborn - 1 year old, we provide a safe, fun, and comfortable environment where volunteers may walk, rock, read, feed bottle, change diapers, and play with little ones to insure they are content.

Your 2 year-old will have in-class crafts, snacks, hands-on activities, and a Bible story. If you have a 3 or 4 year old, he/she will be assigned to a different “bug” room each Sunday to participate in a short hands-on activity. Immediately following, they will go on an adventure to “The Colony” for Bible Story and Worship Time. Afterwards, all bugs will return to their assigned rooms for more activities and snack.

The TreeHouse (K-5th Grade)

In The TreeHouse, your child will learn and explore God’s truths through two equally important segments – small group activities and large group worship. During small group time, they will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of group activities that center around the day’s lesson.

For large group worship, your K-2nd Grader will visit The Attic for an action –packed, energetic Worship and Bible Time made just for kids! Your 3rd – 5th Grader will visit The HideOut. It’s a “Kids Only” (except for Special Agents) hangout where 3rd-5th graders journey through the Bible Story and Worship Time.
